Simone Amato began playing in various clubs around Tuscany after having previously studied classics.

He prides himself with a vast experience in Blues, R & B and Funky participating in important shows such as "Anfiteatro Jazz" and the "Porretta Soul festival".

Since 1996 he has been collaborating with the American pianist Michael Allen, arranger and session man of many soul and R&B artists such as Al Green, Wilson Picket, Isaac Hayes, Otis Clay and many others . Simone still collaborates with Michael Allen today and also with other artists such as BOBBY JOHNSON.

Having taken part in the guitarist Marco Di Maggio’s band: EDDIE&THE HOUSE ROCKERS he also prides himself with a good experience of Country and the fifties Rock & Roll.

In 1997,1998,2002 and 2003 Simone took part in a both studio and live registration: in Blues, Funky, Italian Folk and Pop. He also took part in EKOMUSIC, a television programme that is transmitted on over sixty stations.

In the summer of 2001 Simone played with ALAN SORRENTI.
Also in that year he appeared on TOP OF THE POPS on RAIDUE with PLANET FUNK and at the end of that year he appeared on THE ITALIAN MUSIC AWARDS on ITALIA UNO.
