Luca Davini
-Vocals&acoustic guitar- luca@elisirband.com

I’m Luca otherwise known as ‘bambino’.
I started to play when I was ten years old dividing myself between drums, piano and guitar. Later on I decided that I would dedicate myself to playing only the guitar, it was either that or being kicked out of the house.

I contributed to Stefano Picchi’s career, I always lent him my
keyboard when his one broke down, and my one was better, it had a real drum sound not like his crappy one, that sounded like the little Bontempi organ.
I also collaborated with Paolo Marchetti when he recorded "Generale Kamikaze": in fact he used my guitar because his Taylor, compared to mine, isn’t worth the case it comes in. He knows, but he won’t admit it.

Anyway, coming serious. I started playing with Stefano Picchi and Paolo Marchetti in their group called "Daremonoia". I participated in the Tim Tour in 2003.
Following that I have played in various bands, and since I write my own songs and have a group (which you’ll all be hearing about soon) we play both my pieces and cover.

I also play in Stefano Picchi’s band and had the honour of performing at the opening of Alicia Keys concert in 2004. Alicia still remembers me, in fact she invited me to the last MTV awards, but unfortunately I wasn’t free that night as I had to play snap with my grandma Maria. (see photo)

In those rare moments when I haven’t got a guitar stuck to my fingers I do find time for my favourite pass times, which are apart from snap with grandma:
1) Having a row with the old man Guerrino
